Jerry Reyes received his dance music education during his childhood in Chicago, the birthplace of House music over the FM airwaves religiously listening to the “hot mix” DJ shows in the 1980s. His DJ style is still very much influenced by these pioneer DJs who played a variety of genres in their sets as long as a main goal was met — to move your body.

He has DJ’ed a variety of genres to music-thirsty crowds at some of Chicago‘s fine establishments such as Danny’s in Bucktown, Maria’s in Bridgeport and Double Door in Wicker Park. He is currently resident DJ of “Basement Boogie” every first Thursday of the month at Punch House, always free, and in the lovely Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago.
